We’re excited to announce the first ever invite-only playtest of Hungry Horrors.

This is separate from the public demo you can try in your browser. The demo is polished and stable, while the playtest is download-only and much rougher around the edges. The goal is simple: test new ideas early and gather your feedback.

If you’d like to take part, you need to sign up to our newsletter here. That’s how we’re sending out Steam keys for playtest access.

What to Expect

Playtests may have missing artwork, performance issues, and balance that still needs work. If you prefer a smoother experience, stick with the demo. But if you want to help shape the future of our folkloristic roguelite deckbuilder, this is where it happens.

What’s New in Playtest 0.0.97

Seasoning – Add new abilities to dishes, boost their stats, or even change flavours.

Seer and his Adder Stone – Test Horrors’ food preferences before an encounter.

Lots of smaller updates and tweaks – Balance changes, polish, and bug fixes.
